Kilcullen winner of Apprentice of the Year


Kilcullen woman Bronwyn Villis has been selected as the national Apprentice of the Year 2024, writes Brian Byrne. An apprentice Laboratory Technician with the Kerry Group, she was selected from 400 nominated for the award.
In addition to being the overall winner, she was also the Biopharma Category winner amongst the 17 finalists at the Awards Night on Wednesday in Dublin's Mansion House.
Browyn thanked her family and friends and Kerry Group for their support and encouragement. She is pictured above accepting her award with Minister Patrick O'Donovan and National Apprenticeship Office Director Mary-Liz Trant.
There are more than 28,000 apprentices currently employed in workplaces in Ireland.
