Call for photos for 2025 Photography Club Calendar

Kilcullen Photography Club is inviting non-members to submit photos for possible inclusion in their 2025 Calendar, writes Brian Byrne. One photograph will be chosen for inclusion in the calendar alongside selected photos from club members.

A maximum of two photos per submission should be emailed to kilcullenphotoclub@gmail.com. All submitted photos must have been taken in Kilcullen, and the final date for submission is Friday 11 October.

It will be the sixth calendar produced by the club, which has been in existence since 2017. The publication is sent all over the world to the Kilcullen diaspora by family members and friends.

Funds generated by the sale of the Calendar are used to buy club equipment and a portion is also allocated to a nominated charity or community organisation. Since the club produced their first one in 2019, they have donated close on €5,000 from calendar sales to a variety of charities. From the 2024 publication, a cheque for €500 was handed over to Kilcullen First Responders.
