Tidy Towns bronze medal presented

Members of Kilcullen Community Action were in Abbeyleix last night, to accept the bronze medal awarded to the town in the 2023 Supervalu Tidy Towns, writes Brian Byrne. Ilona Brede, Martin Sheridan and Derek Hoey represented Kilcullen at the event, hosted by the Laoise Federation of Tidy Towns. Abbeyleix was the overall winner last year.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals are awarded in each county to entrants with scores that fall within a set range from the year’s winning score.

Last year Kilcullen was awarded 356 out of a possible 550 marks in the competition, an increase of 18 marks on the town's 2022 results.
