The passing of Helen Birchall

The Diary has learned of the death of Helen Birchall (née Connolly) of Coldwells, Grangebeg, Dunlavin on September 20th, 2024. Predeceased by her husband Aloysius (Al) and beautiful daughter Joan. 

Devoted mother of Elaine and Lorcan and grandmother to Alexandra, Thomas and Fionn, Helen will be dearly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Ursula, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and friends.

She will be reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington W91YN79 on Monday 23rd September 2024 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral on Tuesday 24th September 2024 to St Joseph’s Church, Gormanstown, arriving for 12 noon Funeral Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Helen’s family are forever grateful for the care accorded to her by the wonderful team at Clover Lodge nursing home in her last weeks.
