'Last push' appeal on GAA Car Draw tickets

A last push to sell Kilcullen GAA Car Draw tickets is being made this week in advance of the first draw next month, writes Brian Byrne. There will be four draws, on 6 and 20 September and 4 and 18 October.

This is as the pitch construction phase of the Field of Dreams progresses with the installation of drainage and the formation of the walkways. “The Field of Dreams is starting to look like playing fields,” says Martin Murphy of the club’s Development Committee. “But we have over €250,000 to pay out over the coming three weeks and we need everyone’s help to sell Car Draw Tickets in that time. We are encouraging all club mentors, parents, players, supporters and community members to buy tickets either individually or in groups." 

Martin emphasises that this development 'is for everyone' and support is needed from everyone in the club and town.
