Fairy Trail festive afternoon in full swing

Well, the Valley Park Fairy Trail family day has been swinging along with lots of fairies and princesses of all ages arriving for the fun of the afternoon, writes Brian Byrne.

The Punch and Judy Shows were a really big attraction, with lots of magic and music in between. Saoirse from Woodbine Books enchanted with stories from the lovely range of children's books in the shop. Laura and Fionn entertained with song and guitar further along the trail.

Kilcullen Community Action were on hand with spare fairy wings, and there was face- and nails-painting courtesy of Pamper Me Beautiful along with Belle and Cinderella adding great fairytale glamour to the event.
