Albert scores a silver in 10 Mile
Albert Keenan, pictured on left this morning at race headquarters in Dublin's Phoenix Park, ran a fantastic race to take second place in his category at the Biofreeze Irish Runner 10 Mile championships.
Albert had targeted a podium finish in this race from earlier in the season and broke the 90 minutes for the 10-mile distance with a very strong run to win an Irish national silver in the M75 race category.
Albert will focus on securing a spot on the M75 Irish cross country team in October after a well earned recovery block. Well done Albert.
Almost 2,500 athletes ran the route today.
