Solstice graduation for Auntie Anne children

Some 21 children had their graduation ceremony and party from Auntie Anne's Country Creche this morning, in Kilcullen Town Hall, writes Brian Byrne.

They had spent four years at the creche operated by Anne and Regina Birchall in Brannockstown, and are now looking forward to going to 'big school' in September.

The morning included presentations of poems and songs in the theatre, followed by a party in the Heritage Centre space.

Auntie Anne's is celebrating 24 years since it was founded, and caters for around 40 families within a 20 miles radius of the village.

A fun morning to start the Summer Solstice.
