Philip Scott album launch
Singer-songwriter Philip Scott from Kildare launched his new album 1086 Tully East in the Red Hot Music Club in Fallons last night, writes Brian Byrne. His very individual performance was a refreshing and enthralling experience.
He was supported at the gig by special guests Amy and Catherine O'Neill.
The Diary had a long and very interesting chat with Philip about his life and musical career, and the Kildare references which inspired this album. We'll be bringing an in-depth piece about that in due course.
We particularly liked his song about Dan Donnelly ... you can hear the single here, and get download details of the album.
