WEATHER

A largely dry and bright start this morning with good sunny spells. The sunshine will turn a little hazy from the afternoon though as a touch more cloud moves over later. Staying dry through the afternoon with highest temperatures of 19 to 21 degrees with light breezes.

DID YOU KNOW?

Soap-making recipes from the Middle Ages often include ingredients such as ashes from an oak tree, tallow (animal fat), quicklime, salt, and flour. The soap was scented using fresh herbs such as sage and thyme.

PARISH LOTTO

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.
