Novel writing course
A course on writing a novel will be held on four afternoons in June, facilitated by writer David Butler, writes Brian Byrne. Participants must be able to attend Kildare Library for all four sessions, on Wednesdays 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of June, from 2pm-4pm.
Places are limited and will be allocated following an assessment of applications made through this MS Forms link.
The workshop series is for Beginner or Emerging level writers with works in progress, and will begin with detail discussions from great examples in literature. Homework exercises will be required, and participants will also be asked to submit extracts from their own works for examination in detail by the whole group.
The initiative is part of the Connections Through Literature series partnership between Kildare Libraries and the Irish Writers Centre, and is funded by Creative Ireland.
