Talented Kids raise €6,000 for wish charity

Fundraising PJ days organised recently by the Talented Kids Performing Arts School raised €6,000 for the Clare's Wish charity, writes Brian Byrne
The charity helps to fulfil wishes for adults with terminal medical conditions and was founded by Kevin Clancy in memory of his late sister and father.
The students raised the money through sponsorship cards, and handed them in during PJ days held on 22/23 March. "The days were a total hoot and we were blown away to have raised  €6,000.61 in total for such a worthwhile cause," says the school's owner Maureen V Ward.
The cheque will be handed over to Kevin Clancy on Saturday 13 April, in Kilcullen Community Centre where the school classes are held.
