Highly entertaining one act drama night

There was an absolutely full house last evening for the night of one act plays presented by Kilcullen Drama Group, writes Brian Byrne.

Beginning with a comedy sketch, Lord Knows, featuring Dick Dunphy, Esther Reddy and Vivian Clarke, the presentation moved to JM Synge's Riders to the Sea, in the tragic west of Ireland genre with Collette Murran, Sabina Reddy, Laura Cross, Harry Murphy, Gerard Kelly, Steve Kinneavy and Esther Reddy.

The final and longest play of the evening was Give a Little Love with some fast-paced humour and an amount of non-sober reflection from four women looking back at their teenage Bay City Rollers fan years. Fiona Kelly, Joan Murphy, Collette Fitzgerald and Gail Dalton did the honours here.
