GAA walking updates
In the MyLife Every Step Counts challenge Kilcullen continues to perform exceptionally, writes Liam Cronin, with 40,727km walked to date and still No 3 in Leinster.
At the start of the challenge the objective was to get over 200 active participants, walk over 40,000km and finish in the top five in Leinster, which we have achieved with one weeks to go and 296 active participants.
The challenge concludes in nine days on 12 February, and every step counts to keep Kilcullen Community in the top three in Leinster.
The Kilcullen GAA Lights Up 2024 walk continued last Monday night 29 January with 80 walkers doing four laps of the town from Kilcullen GAA Training pitch on a wet and windy evening. We have two more weeks left in the walk, please continue to support and we will continue the walk this Bank Holiday Monday night 05 February with OT leader Noel O’Connell, starting 8pm.
