Looking Back: Bell-ringing at An Tearmann

As a salute to Christmas Eves past, here's a clip from the bell-ringing that was for many years the tradition on those occasions in An Tearmann, writes Brian Byrne.

It's from 2014, and the event also included mulled wine and mince pies and a lot of festive get-together and good cheer.

Our photos selection below might also provide for a little nostalgic memory. The eight-week-old in one of them was a first-timer at the tradition.
