Festive It's a Wonderful Life night

It was very Christmassy in Kilcullen Town Hall last night, writes Teresa Nurse of Kilcullen Bridge Cinema, the Kilcullen Lions initiative. Cinema-goers enjoyed festive treats of mince pies and mulled wine ahead of a special screening of Frank Capra’s iconic Christmas film It’s a Wonderful Life. 

The audience was delighted with the movie and afterwards many commented how it was the first time they ‘properly’ watched the film. 

Since its release in 1946 the touching film with its message of courage and sacrifice still endures and is Number 1 on the list of most inspirational American movies of all time.
