'Birth of a Nation' at Riverbank

The final show in the programme of the County Kildare Decade of Commemorations Committee will be a concert on Thursday 9 November in the Riverbank Arts Centre. Birth of a Nation will feature tenor Paul Linehan, with Anne Cullen on piano and violin.

The evening will be narrated by Mario Corrigan, beginning at 7.45pm, and will be preceded by  a 'homecoming' of the new book by Michael Barry and John O'Byrne, A Nation is Born, at 7pm.

Admission is free, but tickets must be booked at Riverbank Arts Centre either in person or by telephone on 045 448327 Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm (closed for lunch 2-2.30) and Saturday 10am-1pm.
