Award for Kilcullen dentist Gary Collins

Kilcullen Dental and Gary Collins received the accolade of Leinster Caring Dentist of the Year at an award ceremony in Dublin last weekend, writes Brian Byrne.

The awards are sponsored by Colgate and nominations are made by patients of dentists.

Gary Collins was given his award because he spotted an anomaly in a patient's bite and on further medical investigation it turned out that the person had a gland tumour, which was subsequently removed successfully.
