Twinning delegation on way to Normandy

The main group of Kilcullen's twinning delegation headed off by bus to Dublin Airport earlier this morning for their long weekend trip to Saint-Contest in Normandy, writes Brian Byrne.

The visit is the Covid-delayed reciprocal visit by Kilcullen to the one made here in March 2019 by the Saint-Contest delegation who signed the Twinning Charter between the two towns.

The delegates have a very full programme of events in Saint-Contest, culminating in an official completion of the twinning process on Tuesday morning.
