Twinning Group visit Omaha Beach and Cemetery
Members of the Kilcullen Twinning Group and their hosts in Saint-Contest in Normandy have been visiting Omaha Beach, one of the D-Day landings locations, and the nearbyAmerican Cemetery. They also visited Juno Beach and the Canadian House, the first house to be liberated on the morning of D-Day June 6th 1944, by The Queens Own Regiment from Canada. Afterwards they visited the D-Day Museum in Arromanches.
