Open Mic night in Woodbine Books

A reminder that, as part of their celebrations for Irish Book Week, Woodbine Books are hosting an Open Mic evening tomorrow, Friday 20 October, in association with the Brigid 1500 Creative Writing Group.

The event will begin at 7.30pm. All are welcome to perform poetry, short stories, or music. Participation is not required, all are equally welcome to enjoy the performances as part of the audience.

Anyone wishing to perform can send a message via Woodbine Books Facebook or drop their names in to the bookshop.

This is the second Irish Book Week event this week involving Woodbine — on Tuesday last they co-hosted with Seanchai Books in Kildare a very successful Book Clubs Social in Fallons.
