'Rise' in Kilcullen Bridge Cinema this week

A reminder that Kilcullen Bridge Cinema's next presentation, Rise, a film by Cédric Klapisch, is screening this Wednesday 11 October, writes Brian Byrne.

In French with subtitles, Rise is a comedy-drama about Elise, a promising classical dancer, who has to find a new direction in contemporary dancing after being injured during a performance. Elise is played by Marion Barbeau, a lead dancer from the famous Paris Opera Ballet company.

Rise is presented in Kilcullen with the support of the French Embassy and Institut Francais. Kilcullen Bridge Cinema is an initiative of Kilcullen Lions Club.
