The passing of Mary (Mollie) McMahon

The Diary has learned of the death of Mary (Mollie) McMahon, (Née Byrne), Yellow Bog, Kilcullen (Eircode R56Y883), and formerly Tourboy, Rathdangan, Co Wicklow, on 11 September 2023, peacefully at Tallaght hospital in her 96th year.  

Beloved wife of the late Paddy, Mary's passing is deeply regretted by her loving sons Seán, Brendan, Paul, Declan and Colm, daughters-in-law Rose, Mary, Grainne, Jo and Geraldine, sisters Bride and Jenny, brothers Pat and Henry, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, her 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday, 13 September from 4pm until 8pm with prayers at 7 30pm. Removal from there on Thursday morning, 14 September, to the Church of The Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen via Mile Mill arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Gormanstown Cemetery via Yellow Bog.
