Step it out for September walking challenge

The 2023 STEPtember Walking Challenge organised by the Kildare Sports Partnership is now on, writes Brian Byrne. The Challenge is to walk six out of the 15 designated routes during the month, all on the Grand Canal, Barrow Line, or Royal Canal.

The Kildare Walking Month event now has a new app, Kildare Active, which helps with monitoring for participants. 

Registration by email to ksp@kildarecoco.ie or through the app.

Walkers can scan a QR code at the midpoint of each walk, or the app will note the participation automatically.

Those using the app will go into a free draw for a Fitbit device.
