Cill Chuillinn Abú wall Phase 2 plaques available to buy

The Cill Chuillinn Abú wall will have a central place in the new Field of Dreams development and will serve as a lasting record for all of the community members both past and present that loved the club and contributed to the success of the club and to the Field of Dreams, writes Emma McLarnon.
Phase one of the wall was completed in May and it looks fantastic to see as you enter the gates to the clubhouse. We have had great feedback, from people that purchased plaques for loved ones, or for themselves, and lots of our younger members love looking to spot names they recognise!!
In Phase one we had 100 names. Phase two of the Cill Chuillinn Abú wall is now open. In phase two we will add another 100 names and also a larger title plaque -'Cill Chillinn Abú'.
We already have one third of phase two sold. If you would like to secure a place in history and to support the Field of Dreams, please purchase a plaque through this LINK.
Alternatively, you can pop the first name and surname that you would like on a plaque onto an envelope with cash into Martin Murphy's office.
One plaque with a First name and Surname is €100. This can be paid in 10 instalments.
It was suggested that we honour some members with a free plaque, a valid suggestion, but where do you start to measure a person's contribution to a club over years and decide who gets a free plaque, would that be a fair process? We decided, it would not.
Each name on the Cill Chuillinn Abú wall represents a €100 contribution and each name represents exactly that amount.
If there is a community member that you would like to honour, please purchase a plaque for them through our two options.
