Summer fundraising for KWWSPCA

A number of Summer Fundraising events for the Kildare West Wicklow SPCA kick off next Saturday with a Bark for a Better Day gig at the UCD Smurfit Business School, Blackrock Campus, Dublin, from 10am-2pm.

Everyone welcome. Refreshments and food available, fun events for dogs and their owners such as waggiest tail and fancy dress, an obstacle course for dogs and much more. There's no entry charge. 

A KWWSPCA Dog Walk will be held in Athy on Sunday 23 July, starting at 11am from the Court House, Athy. This is an organised walk along the Barrow River and Grand Canal and a €5 donation would be appreciated. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t have a dog — we hope to have some of our rescue dogs with us on the day. 

KWWSPCA's first Summer Bazaar will take place at the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter near Athgarvan (Eircode W12 EV60) on Sunday 13 August from 12 noon until 3pm. Plenty of free parking and no entry charge. There will be stalls selling cakes, books, plants, clothes, pet products, bric a brac, small items of furniture and much more. All the proceeds from the Bazaar will go to helping the animals in the care of the KWWSPCA. 

The KWWSPCA Annual Wag & Bone Dog Show this year is scheduled for Sunday 10 September, in the Parade Ring at Punchestown Racecourse. Registration starts at 1pm and judging from at 2pm. A Fun Dog Show and every type of dog is welcome, especially rescue dogs.
