New cinema project from Lions
Members from Kilcullen Lions Club attended a programming meeting for cultural and local cinema at the International Film Institute in Dublin yesterday, writes Teresa Nurse.
This is in preparation for a new project, Kilcullen Bridge Cinema, which will begin next September in Kilcullen Town Hall.
Film clubs and societies across Ireland attended yesterday’s event and viewed an advance screening of The Syndicalist, a movie based on the true story of Irish woman Maureen Kearney.
