Oli Jager hits 50 Crusaders NZ games

Oli Jager
, grandson of Kilcullen's John and Monica Martin, was given a special plaque last weekend to mark playing 50 games with the New Zealand Crusaders, writes Brian Byrne.
Often known as the Flying Bull, he currently plays as a prop for Canterbury in New Zealand's domestic Mitre 10 Cup and for the Crusaders in the international Super Rugby competition.
Jager attended Newbridge College and Blackrock College, where his father, Harm Jager, was a strength and conditioning coach. In 2013 he attended the Crusaders International High Performance Unit and subsequently turned out for the Crusaders Academy and the Crusaders Knights development team.
In 2016 he was named in the Canterbury squad for the Mitre 10 Cup, and 2022 was Oli's sixth season as part of the Crusaders squad.
