Dunlavin to mark World Cultural Diversity Day

A 'Dunlavin Welcomes' day has been organised in the local Imaal Hall for Sunday 21 May to celebrate World Cultural Diversity Day.

The initiative has come from the Dunlavin Parents Group and will be a showcase for the different cultures that are represented by more than 25 pupils in local schools from different parts of the world.

Attractions during the day will include an exhibition of children’s art work, a capoeira demonstration, Irish dancing, drumming, and diverse cuisines.

Everyone is welcome to the event which begins at 2pm.
