The Passing of Mick Brady
The Diary has been informed of the death of Michael (Mick) Brady, Glasnevin, Dublin and a native of Kilcullen. Michael passed (peacefully) away on the 16th of April, 2023, in the tender care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, in the company of his loving family.
Beloved husband of Belle and devoted father of Alan and Gerard, Mick is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, his brother Frank, sister Nan, daughters-in-law Rachel and Esther, cherished grandchildren Aoife, Matthew, Robert and Sam, sisters-in-law, his extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends, especially those in Ballymun Kickhams, Sillogue, and The Autobahn Golf Societies.
Mick is reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on Tuesday (18th April) from 2.30pm until 5.30pm and Wednesday (19th April) from 9.30am with removal at 4.45pm to the Church of Our Mother of Divine Grace, Ballygall Road East arriving for Reception Prayers at 5pm.
Requiem Mass will be on Thursday (20th April) at 10am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery. For those who cannot attend the Mass it can be viewed on this link.
(Mick lived as a boy and young man in Brownstown, Naas Road, Kilcullen. He worked for a time in The Hideout, and later with Manhattan Popcorn & Peanuts.)
