Free parenting talks in Kildare libraries

A series of free talks and workshops about parenting are hosted by the Kildare Library Service.

Aimed both at parents and professionals in childcare, the talks are organised by Kildare Leader Partnership, in association with partners including Kildare CYPSC, the HSE Primary Care Psychology Service and Kildare/West Wicklow Parenting Forum. Certificates of attendance are available for professionals for Continuous Professional Development purposes.

Some events are online, others are in-person in local libraries.

First Aid for Parents will be in Naas Library on Tuesday next 28 March at 10am.

Protecting Your Teens Mental Health is an online session on Thursday 13 April from 10am to 12noon.

Promoting Positive Body Image in Our Children will be in  Kildare Town Library on Thursday 20 April at 7pm and in Celbridge Library on Tuesday 25 April at 7pm.

Free Play, Risk & Social/Emotional Development will take place in Maynooth Library on Tuesday 9 May at 7pm

Toilet Training: Less Stress, More Success is online on Tuesday 18 May from 7pm.
