Bus shelter land deal update

Amendments to an application with the Charities Regulator to dispose of land for the provision of a bus shelter in Kilcullen are currently being made by the Cross & Passion sisters, writes Brian Byrne.

This was reported to Cllr Fiona McLoughlin Healy at the recent meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge MD, following her request for an update on the position.

The Council’s legal representatives have been told by the CPC’s legal people that there had been queries from the Regulator, and these are being addressed, and the application will be re-submitted shortly.
