Exhibition of Brigid-based art in Kildare

An exhibition of paintings, print and sculpture celebrating the life and lore of Brigid will open in Kildare town on Tuesday next, 31 January 2023.

Brigid Unfolding is a project of the Sult artists group and the exhibition will run in No 8 Gallery in Academy Street until 28 February.

The works include pieces from invited guest artists Mir Fitzgerald,  Angelina Foster, Karen Hickey, Hilary Kinahan, Vera McEvoy, Bríd Óg Norrby, and Bríd Ní Rinn, as well as Sult artists Ann McKenna, Liza Kavanagh, Mary McGrath, Eleanor Swan, Pamela de Brí, Sylvia Hemmingway, Margaret Becker, and Brian O'Loughlin.

The exhibition will open each day from 10am-5pm, excluding Sundays.
