Celebrating Brigid 1500 in Kilcullen

Brigid 1500 ... what’s it all about? writes Mary Orford of the Kilcullen Brigid 1500 working group. Throughout 2023 there will be events, in person or digital, to remember the legacy of Brigid. As you learn more about her and her life, you’ll discover what a wonderful role model Brigid is, even for our modern times. 

Keep an eye on social media and the Kilcullen Diary for events — art displays, coffee mornings, a Heritage Week walk, pitch and putt competition, creative writing group meetings and more to be announced. Join us for any or all of the events over the year-long commemoration.
