The Kilcullen GAA Juvenile Academy wrapped up their season with a morning of fun, medals, and goodie bags at the clubhouse last Saturday morning, writes Joe Finnegan.
Over 200 boys and girls were in attendance to have a fun training session before receiving their medals from club senior players Jayne Peacocke and Ciaran O'Brien.
However, the biggest cheers of the morning were reserved for the ever-popular Soak The Coach station, when every boy and girl earned the right to chuck a sponge soaked in ice cold water at their coaches' faces!
The Academy takes a break now for the winter and will resume in March. Any boys or girls (football and hurling) from Under-5 upwards, who would like to get involved, should keep an eye on social media near the time for return dates.
