Childcare Centre walking challenge

A November walking challenge by the staff and children at the Kilcullen Community Childcare Centre is aimed at raising funds towards a climbing frame and playhouse for the centre’s new back garden.

They’re looking for sponsorship for the effort, which has a target of a total of 300,000 steps for the month by the staff of KCCEC, and 1km by the children for each day they attend the pre-school or after-school.

“As the evenings get darker and the weather gets colder, we are all guilty of making the excuse to not be active or get some fresh air,” the staff say,” so we have decided to ‘not stop’ for the month of November.”
