A silver for Albert

Albert Keenan, pictured above yesterday with the overall race winner and Irish Olympian Mick Clohisey, ran a terrific race to finish second in the M70 category at the national 10-mile road championships at Dublin's Phoenix Park. 

With very warm weather conditions and a tough hilly course, Albert completed the 10 miles in 84 minutes. He finished strong to take second spot adding a national silver to his Irish bronze picked up at the national 5-mile last month. 

Albert will now target the gold medal at the Irish half marathon championships in September. Well done Albert on your fantastic achievement.
