Summer Wilderness Camp

A Wilderness Summer Camp will operate at Rathargid, Gormanstown, during the month of July, designed for primary school children aged 7-12.

There will be three 4-day sessions at the Dúlra Wilderness Camp, each beginning on Mondays 4, 11 and 25 July.

Run by Kate Maher, a qualified primary teacher who has Outdoor Education as one of her specialities, the Camp will feature team games and challenges, nature study of the local environment, arts and crafts using natural materials, campfire cooking, bushcraft and more. There will also be singing, folklore and story-telling.

The day timetable are from 10am-2pm.

The cost is set at €110-€140, with discounts for siblings or a second week.
