KWWSPCA seeks helpers for JuneFest activities

The animals charity Kildare West Wicklow SPCA, which has a strong following in Kilcullen, is seeking volunteers to help fundraise during JuneFest in Newbridge.

The festival has chosen KWWSPCA to be the charity beneficiary this year, during its events over the June Bank Holiday weekend beginning on 4 June.

KWWSPCA is appealing for helpers to 'shake buckets' in the Linear Park over the weekend, 'preferably with a dog, as this greatly increases the public interest!'.

The charity also needs help during the 'Bark in the Park' on Sunday 5 June which will take place in the Liffey Linear Park from 11am-4pm, fun filled activities and entertainment for dogs and their families. Simple dog trials, a treasure hunt, raffles and fun for dogs and children and stalls selling cakes and soft drinks and giving advice on pet ownership, pet grooming and pet care.
