Help Kilcullen get €100,000 improvement grant

A streetscape upgrade grant of €100,000 is up for grabs for one town in County Kildare ... and Kilcullen is going after it, writes Brian Byrne.

The grant from Kildare County Council can be used for any number of ways of improving the streetscape, and Kilcullen Community Action are doing a 'brainstorm walkabout' tomorrow, Saturday morning from 11am, to gather a list of possible projects.

These can include painting, murals, signage, planters and shopfront improvements.

Expressions of interest have to be in by Wednesday, so any individual, business or group in the town who has an idea should send it to kilcullencommunityaction@gmail.com before next Tuesday.
