Final chance tomorrow to learn more about Draft County Plan

A final opportunity to participate in an online information session on the Draft Kildare County Development Plan 23-29 will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 11 May 2022, writes Brian Byrne.

The sessions, similar to two held two last month, are designed to facilitate discussion and provide an overview of the Draft plan, its policies, objectives and proposed actions.

This final session will run from 2pm-4pm. Participation is by registration at eventbrite here. There is no charge. 

For those with the time and interest the full Draft Plan can be accessed here at a Kildare County Council portal. The portal format is an attempt at making it sexy, but in the Diary's view does add a more cumbersome element to the process. Still, persevere if, as you probably should, you care about the future of your county.

The public consultation deadline for submissions is 24 May 2022.
