Crafts showcase for June Fest 2022

The Original Kildare craft collective will showcase their work at a pop-up shop in Newbridge during June Fest 2022.

There are 25 members in the collective and their work encompasses bog oak sculpture, fine art prints, handmade jewellery, feltwork, glass fused art, handmade kids’ accessories, ceramics and more.

The pop-up shop will be located in Charlotte Mall on Charlotte Street, and it will be open from 2-7 June.

Original Kildare was established through a training programme developed by County Kildare Leader Partnership and Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office. Its chairperson Petra Cooper says Kildare is home to some of the finest craftspeople in the country and it is a thrilling opportunity to showcase a range of unique handmade products.
