Punchestown tickets to help Ukraine
With Punchestown Racecourse offering to give the proceeds from tickets bought this weekend for the final day of the Festival to Ukraine aid, the County Kildare Chamber is urging local businesses to buy their tickets between today and Monday.
The Ballymore Family Day is the concluding day of the Punchestown Festival and has become the most popular day at the festival with crowds of over 35,000 expected to attend.
"It is the ultimate wrap party for the Irish jump racing season with a dedicated family activity area for families and socialisers to enjoy the various aspects of the race day in comfort," says Alan Shine, Chief Executive of County Kildare Chamber. "By purchasing tickets your business can make a big difference to those not as fortunate and reward your employees with tickets to one of the social and sporting highlights of the Irish calendar, which guarantees a fabulous day out."
The racecourse has pledged to donate the money from the tickets bought over this Easter weekend for the Ballymore Family Day to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine crisis appeal.
