National Community Engagement Day tomorrow

Tomorrow, Wednesday 27 April, is National Community Engagement Day, where communities can 'meet and greet' organisations such as An Garda Síochána, the IFA and the National Rural Safety Forum.

The event takes place at over 800 locations around the country. In Kildare Town it will be held on Main Street from 11am-1pm and at Punchestown Racing Festival from 3pm-6pm.

Anyone with queries about rural safety, crime prevention and security is welcome to come along. The meetings will be informal and will last approximately one hour.
