Book award for 'From Suir to Jarama'

Jimmy Kelly, former Irish Secretary of the union UNITE, presenting the 2022 'Waterford News & Star' Green Room Award for 'Best New Book by a Waterford Author' to Liam Cahill, author of 'From Suir to Jarama: Mossie Quinlan's Life and Legacy'.

The presentation was made on The Mall, Waterford, at the monument to the 11 Waterford men who volunteered for the 15th International Brigade in the Spanish Civil War. Mossie Quinlan, one of the eleven, was killed in the Battle of Jarama in 1937.

Signed copies of 'From Suir to Jarama' are available in Woodbine Books.
