Weatherday: Cheap cold land

A bit of a break in the run of good weather today, with cloudy conditions moving in from the north. Colder than of late, and possibly a few showers in the afternoon. 

Highest temperature 7deg or so in breezes from the northeast that will freshen through the afternoon, easing again during a cold night. 

On this day in 1867, Russia sold Alaska to the United States for around two cents an acre.
