First match of new hurling squad today in Kilcullen

The first competitive match of a new amalgamated hurling squad, South Kildare Shamrocks, will be played this afternoon at Kilcullen GAA, writes Martin Sheridan.

The Shamrocks are an amalgamation of U/12, U/15 and U/12 players from Kilcullen, Two Mile House and Athgarvan clubs.

The initiative is for the progression of Hurling in our region of Kildare. The match today starts at 3.45pm on the Main Pitch in Kilcullen.

All are welcome to come and see the boys in their first match.
