Looking Back: were you a teen litter picker in '97?

It's not a great reproduction, but this photograph published in a local paper in August 1997 shows participants in a teenagers anti-litter patrol at the beginning of their work in Kilcullen through the summer. With them are members of the town's business community.

In the accompanying story, the Kilcullen Tidy Towns Committee thanks them for their efforts, and ask that local business owners take up litter in front of their premises at opening and close of business.
