Appeal for stock donations for animal charity's Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark, the Kildare West Wicklow SPCA's very successful Charity Shop in Newbridge, is running low on stock, largely due to the road works in Cutlery Road that are preventing anyone stopping their car near to the shop to drop off their donations.

So this Saturday, 26 February, the KWWSPCA Shelter in Athgarvan (Eircode W12 EV60) will be open to take in donations from 10am-2pm. Lots of easy parking there. Please call 086 3413017 or 087 6803295 to arrange a time to call to the Shelter on Saturday or if you need to come at another time.

The charity accepts good quality clothes and accessories, jewellery, bric a brac, small furniture items, household goods, mirrors, books and jigsaws.

We cannot accept electrical items nor bedding such as pillows and duvets. Nor do we take in children's toys as we find these take up a lot of space and are difficult to sell. Also we don't take in anything that is broken or dirty.

Noah's Ark provides the KWWSPCA, and consequently the animals in its care, with a large proportion of its annual income and is vital for the continuation of the work of the Society.

All the staff working in the shop are volunteers, no wages are paid, and all the items sold in the shop are kindly donated by KWWSPCA supporters.
