Overnight frost will clear, but watch for early icy patches. Today will be dry with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells developing.
Highest temperatures of 5deg in very light breezes from the south, possibly staying colder where fog persists.
On this day in 1931, Mary Elizabeth Clarke was born to Irish-born parents in New York. She would later become a Maryknoll missionary nun and was assassinated by a military death squad in El Salvador in December 1980, along with three other missionary women.
